Small Strides Physical Therapy provides mobile, in-home or community, and clinic based therapy services to children ages 0-5 years in the greater Newburyport, MA area. Our process includes an initial evaluation, follow up conversation with the family and then regular treatment sessions. We specialize in treating:

CONVENIENCE
Erin can come to your home, school or community for evaluation and treatment. Therapy will occur either in environments you have access to consistently or a clinic space if you so choose.
KNOWLEDGE
Erin has completed extensive continuing education and one on one mentorships to have the most current knowledge in early gross motor development, torticollis, plagiocephaly, and tethered oral tissues to help your child work through their most challenging times.
COMPASSION
Erin has worked with children in various capacities for over a decade, but more importantly, she is a mom to two girls who have presented with oral motor dysfunction, side preferences and difficulty with gross motor milestones. She understands the challenges families face when trying to raise children and wants to help you make it all a little easier!

Small Strides Physical Therapy was created by Erin Ward PT, DPT with the hope of bringing movement and education into the community and your home in a creative and individualized way. She believes that making changes on a small scale early on is the best way to achieve big goals, hence, the birth of Small Strides. Since moving to Newburyport, and growing her family, she has found so much joy in becoming a part of the local community. She now looks forward to giving back and building upon that community through her work at Small Strides Physical Therapy.
